Skysplitter and Stormbringer

History

Skysplitter and Stormbringer are a pair of rapiers that were made by an elemental lord of air thousands of years ago for his favored champion. Skysplitter was enchanted with the electrifying power of lightning while Stormbringer was given the might of a great storm's thunder. Eventually, this champion fell in combat and his weapons were taken. They've seen use in the hands of other warriors, been hidden away in dungeons and private collectors' rooms, and traveled the planes. Most recently, they have been claimed by the aarakocra ranger Raxtas.
