Personal history
After stealing a magical flame tongue blade from his cruel, ancient black dragon overlord and promptly fleeing his home so as not to suffer his god's wrath, Rocktooth became an adventurer. In his time as an adventurer, he always kept his goal of slaying his old master in mind. As a devout worshipper of Tiamat, Rocktooth was eventually given a divine quest to gather a hoard for her. Along the way to completing this task, Rocktooth engaged a werewolf in combat and was given the curse of lycanthropy.
Not to be deterred, Rocktooth convinced other kobolds to join him as warriors and gave them lycanthropy as well. With a warband of werewolf-kobolds standing staunchly at his side, he launched an attack upon Feuerdale to claim the city and its riches for Tiamat. The attack was an overwhelming success, with few warriors equipped well enough to fight off the lycanthropes.
With the city under his control, Rocktooth met up with an adventuring companion to assist him in defeating his old master. Rocktooth and his warrior friend then made their way to his old home, whereupon they launched an attack. The warrior held back the tide of lesser foes by successfully holding a tunnel while Rocktooth fought his dragon master in one on one combat.
Rocktooth's master was not going to go down easily, however, and, being a mage of some renown, used his magical prowess to shoot spell after spell while also devastating Rocktooth with fang, claw, and tail. That wasn't all that the dragon had at its disposal though. It also used a sphere of annihilation, which came close to being the end of Rocktooth many times. In the end though, Rocktooth's rage and primal might was enough to dispose of the dragon.
With his tribe free from draconic rule, Rocktooth led them to Feuerdale, now named the Chromatic Vale, and offered his and his master's hoards to Tiamat. In return for the vast treasures, Tiamat revealed the location of a powerful artifact called the Dragon Queen's Will. Rocktooth set out at once to claim this mighty blade and, after slaughtering a number of Yuan-Ti in Wajigundo, eventually possessed the weapon and the magic power within.
With his new weapon in hand, Rocktooth was given a new task by Tiamat. She requested that he slay the kobold gods and take his place as the rightful ruler of koboldkind at her side. Delighted by this request, Rocktooth complied. With Metal Ox, Rocktooth left to defeat Kuraulyek. Unfortunately, the battle ended in a loss for Rocktooth. Barely escaping with his life, Rocktooth vowed vengeance and left to gain strength. After some time, Rocktooth returned. Significantly stronger than last time, Rocktooth dispatched his foe with relative ease. After absorbing Kuraulyek's divine essence and becoming the god of urds, Rocktooth used his newfound wings to make his way to Kurtulmak. Along the way he also purged the curse of lycanthropy from his blood. Upon locating his foe, he engaged the god of kobolds, mining, and war in a spectacular battle. In the end, only one god stood. Rocktooth had slain Kurtulmak and absorbed his divine power, becoming the god of kobolds, urds, and war.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Rocktooth got revenge on his old dragon master, slaying him in personal combat and subsequently claimed his vast hoard. He also successfully conquered the city of Feuerdale, which has since been reformed to the Chromatic Vale. In addition, Rocktooth was able to successfully create a massive hoard as tribute to Tiamat. In recognition of this feat, Tiamat bestowed the artifact The Dragon Queen's Will upon him. With this gift, she also gave him a grave task; slay the two gods of the kobolds pantheon and take their place. Rocktooth accepted this mission with religious zeal and struck down Kuraulyek, god of the urds, and Kurtulmak, god of kobolds, mining, and war, taking their places as the sole god of the newly united Kobold peoples.
Failures & Embarrassments
Rocktooth's only major failure was in his first battle with Kuraulyek, god of urds, as he was soundly beaten by the craven god.
