Requirements
The title of Lunar Emperor is hereditary, passed down from the holder to their most prestigious child.
Appointment
Following the death of the previous Lunar Emperor, a grand coronation ceremony takes place wherein the Crown of Brûlash the Conqueror is placed upon the head of the new ruler, and their authority is recognized by the nobility of the Empire.
Duties
The Lunar Emperor is in charge of the administration as well as the domestic and foreign policies of the Empire of Morgardonia. They are the supreme head of state and have full authority over all aspects of the realm.
Responsibilities
The Lunar Emperor has many attendants, title-bearers, staff, and nobles who run the minutia of the day-to-day of the Empire. The Lunar Emperor works mostly to hold the realm together by solving noble disputes, planning for the Empire's future, and strategizing military campaigns.
Accoutrements & Equipment
The only standardized piece of wear for the Lunar Emperor is the Crown of Brûlash the Conqueror. As Emperor, they also generally wear lavish outfits and jewelry as befitting their station, though they can wear whatever suits them best.
History
The unification of the scattered Lunar Orc tribes under one banner led to the creation of the Empire of Morgardonia and, thusly, the title of Lunar Emperor. During the coronation of the first Emperor, Brûlash the Conqueror, Moon Elven assassins slew the Emperor and simultaneously delivered their declaration of war.

For the Lunar Orcs, the title of Lunar Emperor holds great significance as it signals the beginning of a new age of progress and strength for their people.
For the other races of Kripthoth, the title is met with a tinge of terror. The orcs are known for their brutality, warmongering, and penchant for conquest and expansion. For the nations of Kripthoth, this title means that an era of unprecedented peace or an era of unrestrained bloodshed could follow.
