Islarunanfech
Geography
Islarunanfech is a small island in the ocean of Dartbo west of Vukeron. The island's shores are extremely treacherous for any ships that seek to approach. Sharp, jagged rocks line not only the shore but the waters out to a few hundred feet as well. Past the shoreline, the rest of the island is fairly idyllic, consisting of rocky and hilly grasslands.
Localized Phenomena
While storms may affect the area around the island, the island itself will never be affected by storms or other weather phenomena.
History
Islarunanfech was created by a powerful dragonborn mage-priest. He sought to keep his people's artifacts of power away from unworthy dragonborn. He did not want the dragonblood amulets or the dragonblood blade to fall into the hands of those too weak to use them to their full potential or those who did not have the blood of dragons flowing through their veins. Thus, after collecting the items and raising the island from the depths with his magic, the mage-priest created a ring of stones stood up and stacked to create a system of gates that, when activated, would lead to demiplanes containing specific trials that would reward the one who completed them the dragonblood amulet of the same color as the gate. It is unknown where exactly the mage-priest hid the dragonblood blade or how one would claim it.
The island's location had been long thought to be lost to time, but it was rediscovered by Xorenath, the Chosen of Varahosst, in the year 1226 of the first era. After discovering Islarunanfech's location, Xorenath and his party sailed the Crimson Crusade to its shores. Xorenath then completed the grey trial and claimed the grey dragonblood amulet.
