Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Azdan is in likely the greatest condition of any creature to ever exist, boasting the might, agility, and toughness of many gods as he gains a little bit of power with each god that he kills.

Body Features

Azdan's original form is imposing, standing at thirty feet tall and weighing in at just under a ton. His skin is a deep, dark black, almost as if he is a walking void. Sitting atop his mighty shoulders are two heads, with eyes that are a deep, glowing purple that instill a sense of dread in the heart of any who fall under their gaze. Azdan has four large and strong arms that fit neatly into his brawny frame.

Apparel & Accessories

Azdan wears no armor or clothing other than a large, dark grey loincloth that is embossed with a massive, circular piece of darkiron.

Specialized Equipment

Azdan wields four special weapons. They are a sickle; Grimharvest, a battleaxe; Shadowsplitter, a warhammer; Knellringer, and a sword; Voidcleaver.

Personal history

Azdan, the God of Extinction, has been around for millenia. It is believed that he is nearly invincible and unable to truly be killed, though many have tried to destroy him. Older than any of the gods currently living, Azdan has wiped out many pantheons over the course of his existence. He has never succeeded in his goal of destroying all life in Edradus, but he was close at one point.
Approximately ten thousand years before the Year of the Crimson (Era 1, 1023), Azdan was engaged in another apocalyptic war with the gods. He was opposed by a coalition of ten pantheons of gods, known as the Ten Divines' Armies. Azdan crushed many of these gods, eliminating entire pantheons and leaving some races godless or entirely eliminated from Edradus. Eventually, the gods of the north, under the leadership of Odin, took one of Thor's prized weapons, Tordenkast, and placed runes of binding, imprisonment, and sealing upon the head of the hammer. This ancient magic was used in the final battle where Azdan was sealed into the hammer for a short while. To ensure his imprisonment, Loki created a large statue also inscribed with many runes in order to better store Azdan. Logi, God of Fire, was given the task of guarding Azdan while he was imprisoned.
For ten thousand years his spirit rested undisturbed, yet ever plotting the downfall of the gods and their people. One day, he felt a strange presence in the world of the snowy north that sat above him. A single man, who's ego and hubris knew very few bounds. Azdan chose this man to be the one to free him. He sent the man a vision of the mighty hammer Tordenkast, laying in its resting place in the depths below a cave nearby the village of Sutvegr. The man eventually made his way to this cave after accumulating much power and many allies. Together, they slew Logi and marched into the depths. There, the man took up the hammer and in doing so freed Azdan. This man and his allies were Leif Eriksson and the Crimson Dragons; Estok, Driggag, Gustavo, Psalm, and Metal Ox.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Azdan is renowned for mercilessly slaying many hundreds of gods, causing the downfall of entire races of people in doing so.

Failures & Embarrassments

His most debilitating failure was his ten thousand year imprisonment at the hands of the Gods of the North.

Morality & Philosophy

Azdan has no real morals to speak of. He exists to slay and kill. It is theorized that the Overdeity may have created him to act as a sort of conservation measure to ensure that the numbers of the gods never grew out of control.
