Sordid Plains

The Sordid Plains, also sometimes referred to as the Sordid Regions or even Death Valley; is the area located between the Auskerian Empire and Hashin Republic.
it is an area that is covered in an almost permanent winter; the area is home to several large pieces of fallen space debris, some of which as tall as mountains which have created the environment it now is. The area itself is bathed in a moderate amount of radiation, though there are areas that can be passed that has little or no radiation at all.
Due to the permanent winter, there is almost no flora to be found, except within the confines of the destroyed station. Fauna, on the other hand, is more common place. The Daemon have made several of the large chunks of the fallen station their home, but many more are left devoid and unexplored due to the region's dangers.

Geography

The area is considered rocky plains due to the thousands of destroyed and decaying buildings that litter the landscape. The area contains several deep valleys that are full of destroyed vehicles, discarded weapons, and corpses that some of the local wildlife still feed on to this day.

Natural Resources

The area contains large deposits of Ceruluem Crystal's, iron, coal, copper, and other materials that are vital for industry.

History

The Sordid Plains was once home to a thriving tourist city in the early part of 2004, this changed however when the region began to suffer from mysterious earthquakes; destroying the cities and rendering the place almost uninhabitable.
