Revival

The ability to revive is highly coveted by many within the world, it is known that only nine people have the ability to use this spell. However, the spell itself has a number of very heavy restrictions on it.

• The spell has to be cast within thirty minutes of the person’s death.
• Two gemstones, Ruby and Rubellite are needed. Ruby is used to revitalize the heart, while Rebellite is needed to stabilize the body.
• Lifeforce.

Revival is considered a controversial spell, and many people will outright refuse to learn it. This is because, other than the above restrictions, another reason is that in order for someone to be revived the mage has to trade their life for the person being revived. This means that the mage is effectively committing suicide in order to save another life.
