Festivals
The country celebrates several festivals and has a few traditions:
Christmas - a celebration that has stayed, celebrated during the winter months.
The Life Festival - Done to honor life, and to give peace to the dead. Children typically wear bright colored outfits, while adults wear dark outfits.
Children’s Festival - A festival purely about children, children wear different types of outfits depicting different kinds of animals or bugs. They are given gifts, food, and money from adults. The Festival is also used as a celebration of birth.
Halloween - A tradition adopted from Okoda when the two countries were allies. During this time of the year, children dress up and adults try and find the perfect method of scaring them.
White Day - boys give chocolates to the girl they like. Any girl who receives chocolate is required to return a gift within a month.
Black Day - the opposite of White’s day, Black Day is where any girl who hasn’t received chocolate is given chocolate by their family.
