High Lord

The high Lord, is the title given to the eldest male and current heir of the Nebani family. Along with the rights to all of the royal family's possessions, they also take over full control of Deshem's government, as well as becoming the major leading figure for all of Lower Heldan.

Qualifications

The first born son of the current High Lord will be the one to inherent the authority, should something happen to the successor, then the next of kin will take their place.

At least 18 years of age

Appointment

The Inauguration of a new High Lord is one of Deshem's greatest celebrations, many of the city's taverns give free stay and food, and the entire city celebrates the appointment of their new ruler.
