Caywold

A very small village, nothing much is special about Caywold. It is ruled by a lord who is put in charge by the high lord of Deshem. The village is rather poor and has a very unprofessional militia.

History

On the night of Brew Fest, Bieliah, 3rd of Amiel 8269 AM, the village was attacked by a large group of goblins. The goblins, while lacking a solid plan managed to take advantage of Caywolds underwhelming defenses. They were able to come into the village from the sewer system, raid and burn most of the village's buildings and kidnap several civilians including the lords daughter. The attack also included a second wave which included a hill giant attacking from the north to try and break through the walls and a group of a measly four orcs from the south. While Caywold was completely unprepared and overwhelmed, luckily four adventurers happened to be celebrating Brew Fest in the village. These four adventurers managed to fight off the goblins, find the kidnapped townsfolk, learn of the second wave, and fend off the hill giant allowing the villages guards to focus on the, what they assumed to be more then four, orcs.
