Sandshade

A city built upon an oasis of the southern desert region. Its residents, the Umik, are isolationists and theocratic. The rest of the world is moving too quickly while forsaking the gods with their unholy machinations and so the Umik stay in their oasis so that the wrath of gods may spare them.

Demographics

The only ethnic culture residing in Sandshade are the Umik people, but these people are made of many different species thanks to their ancient ancestors being more welcome to others. Nowadays it is quite difficult to integrate into Umik society. Only the truly devout are permitted residency after a considerable probation period.

Districts

The city has an inner district housing the Temple of The Celestine Court. This is where the Pillars will convene and festivals are held.

There is a necropolis outside the city for the entombment of the Umik people and worship of the god Aorr.
