Edelvain

Edelvain is a world shaped by the fallout of an ancient war between the Gods of Order and the Gods of Chaos. Several millennia later, the scars from this war have begun to heal, but the inability of the Gods of Order to undo all of their enemies has bred new, insidious conflicts that creep up from their foul influence. Those Gods of Order relinquished their divinity at the conclusion of their cataclysmic conflict and all that remains of them are their Mantles: artifacts and power that help their wielders hold sway over the course of history.
