Leigh
Leigh Questor
Bards throughout Laurentia are a common sight, but none so uncommon as Leigh Questor. He is a lover, fighter, rogue, gambler, hero, partaker in debaucheries, loyal, but also inconsistent. His fiends often describe how he's loyal in a pinch, but is also the first to run away at the first sign of danger. He has had many adventures through adventuring parties, but also simply by himself. He has been known to disappear on benders only to return with the wildest stories, which many of his songs and ballads are based on.

Personal history
Leigh's story begins with his mother, Dara Yaeldrin, a wood-elf noblewoman from the Timberlands. Dara's father was the elf-lord Roren Yaeldrin, who presided over the wood-elf city of Ennore and its respective domains. Ennore is a bustling trade city not just home to elves, but to half-elves, firbolgs, gnomes, dwarves, and humans looking to find work. One of these humans, was a woodsmen and hunter named Eghan. Eghan soon became sought out by Lord Roren for his skills and knowledge of the forest. He would soon become Roren's House Hunter, the official huntsman for the Yaeldrin noble family. During this time, Eghan quickly became smitten by Roren's daughter Dara. Dara quickly became smitten in turn, often purposefully trying to run into Eghan any chance she could get. Not wishing to draw the elf-lord's ire, Eghan quickly began to recuse himself whenever she was present. One night, Dara snuck into Eghan's chambers where they professed their feelings to the other. From there, Dara's servants would always help her and Eghan try to sneak away and spend time with one another. Roren eventually found out wishing to execute Eghan, but Dara was able to stay his hand, convincing her father to exile him instead. Eghan fled Ennore never to return. Dara soon followed, sneaking out of Ennore to follow Eghan as she was carrying his child. Their first son, Morryn.
The couple soon found themselves in Kenmore the capital city in the Kingdom of Lerwick. Upon entering the city they had to make a new life for themselves away from the public eye. Eghan became a carptenter with Dara learning how to be a washer woman, while also helping her husband with his wood working shop. During this time, their second son Leigh was born. Leigh was always a crafty child, always up to mischevious pranks around his father's shop and in his paren'ts home. From a young age, the future bard could be found playing in the streets with his friends whether that be in ball games, dice, or putting on charlatan like schemes to woo the crowds. He and his friends often found themselves running away from authorities or angry citizens. Other times he could use his silver tongue to talk himself out of situations. In watching a local street performer, Leigh became fascinated in wanting to learn an instrument and take his talents to the wider world. He soon dedicated his time to music and learning how to connect his magic with the notes and tunes that he was playing.
When Leigh turned eighteen, he left Kenmore and began his travels throughout the Laurentian continent. He performed for minor lords, wooed the husbands and boyfriends of many, fell into trouble with the law, and ran shady side jobs for certain adventuring, mercenary, and criminal organizations. In completing his adventures, quests, and jobs, Leigh had the tendency to spend all of his earnings within a matter of days. Typically on booze, gambling, drugs, and carnal pleasures. This caused him to develop a nomadic lifestyle, never staying in one place for more than a month or two. Eventually, Leigh's luck would run out as he became entangled with a criminal organization known as the Glorious Rings. He owed them a gambling debt which he fell short on. As a result, they took everything he owned. Instruments, clothes, shoes, everything. He found himself wandering the roads of Calanais naked until he happened upon a group of adventurers known as the Guardsmen. The Guardsmen helped Leigh track down his things and quickly dispatched the members of the Glorious Rings to get his things back. Upon his rescue, Leigh found himself some new allies, joining this wandering adventuring group.
In his time with the Guardsmen, Leigh helped deal with a marauding band of orcs outside the city of Culmkerk, defeat a cult known as the Sons of the True King in the city of Drogstone, as well as kill a coven of sea hags who were kidnapping and eating children in the lake town known as Mousa. The Guardsmen were heading towards Mousa to retrieve an artifact from a rogue druid named Ataulf. Upon finding him, they figured out that Ataulf had sold said item to a figure known as Hunlaf. In tracking down Hunlaf, the Guardsmen figured out he was the leader of a lycanthropic group of bandits and marauders, wanted throughout the kingdom. After the battle, Kuonrad, a paladin within the Guardsmen realizes that he has contracted lycanthropy. Together, the Guardsmen seek out the aide of the Blood Hunter Order of the Lycan. Led by Kaolin, a member of the adventuring party who is a firbolg blood hunter, they venture into the Eastern Woods where they find the order. This is where treachery would be revealed. Agnes, a member of the Guardsmen since the beginning, accidentally reveals her true vampiric nature. She attacks and flees the group. After curing Kuonrad of lycanthropy, the group must make a new decision.
They were tasked by a mysterious individual named Karney. The Guardsmen had rescued Karney in Mousa and he asked the adventurers to help track down the missing parts of his wife so he could burry her complete and whole. Upon retrieving these pieces, Leigh was recovering from a drunk night and said he would catch up with the party later. He found them 2-3 weeks later, recounting a vivid tale of finding a group of dwarves who live in trees and were harassed by a dragon the size of a corgi, which he then disuaded from attacking the dwarves further by lulling it to sleep with his music. The dwarven monk of the group, Vladimir, found this preposterous. After rejoining the Guardsmen, their adventures took them to the Greenwood where they scoured the ancient fortress of Oban, befriending a lich named Tip, who was once a magical king or sorceror. Or maybe both. Tip can't really remember. The Guardsmen continued to explore the Greenwood until reaching the elven capital of Tir na Nog. Once there, Leigh went on one of his legendary benders once more and the Guardsmen have yet to see or hear from him since then...

In his early days as a bard he often played concerts and songs in taverns as well as for minor or petty lords throughout Lerwick, Calanais, and Rowland. He has also found himself entering and exiting several adventuring groups such as the Vagabond Jury, Midnight Oath, and others. Typically leaving as soon as things go south. He has also done jobs for other groups such as the Bloodvale, and Forge Wolves.
