Hermann Dracul

(a.k.a. The Dragon's Spear)

Among the Vampiric Aristocracy, no warrior's name is whispered among them with such fear and reverence as that of Lord Hermann Dracul. During the Vampiric Civil War he gained the alias of the "Dragon's Spear," due to his viscous lightning fast maneuvers and tactics he would bring upon his enemies. He was a thing of terror in the hands of Conrad von Halter, and the Nosferatu wished to use him to his fullest potential. Donning himself in his black ridged plate armor, wielding his longswords, the mere sight of the Dragon's Spear was enough to send enemies running.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

It doesn't take a genius to see that Dracul is an indominable figure. He stands 8 ft. tall and is a solid wall of muscle. He is deceptively quick for his size, exercising great feats of strength and abilities through his vampiric heritage.

Special abilities

Being a vampire, Dracul has an array of powers and abilities at his disposal. But as a higher vampire, and having the status of a vampire lord, his powers well beyond that of the average undead. Like all vampires, Dracul can shapeshift into wolves, bats, and a cloud of mist. He is able to vertically walk up walls and on top of ceilings as if gravity has no effect. His strength, speed, and stamina are all heightened to the point of superhuman. His skin is resistant to non-magical weapons, and he has the ability to self-heal. He is also a bit minor spellcaster, able to do some basic dangerous destructive spells.

Apparel & Accessories

When marching into battle, Dracul could always be found adorned in his signature black plate armor. The armor itself being jagged, rigid, and pointed in many different places. It not only served as protection, but could also be a weapon if one wasn't too careful.

Specialized Equipment

Like his signature armor, Dracul carried two elven longswords with him into battle. Legends and tales tell of how he obtained them by prying them from the cold dead fingers of elven kings, after slaying them in battle. His first sword is Lachlammen. Its name translates to "Flametongue" in common. It is an elegant blade, able to burn and bestow fire damage on a target after making contact. His other sword is Thilverest, which translates to "White Breath." This sword freezes and deals cold damage to its victims.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Like all vampires, it is unclear as to who Hermann Dracul was before he joined the ranks of the Undead. He stands an imposing 8 ft. tall, covered in dark plate armor, wielding two elven long swords. These swords are magical, able to do fire and cold damage against any who feel the bite of their steel. Stories tell of how Hermann took these two swords after killing two elven kings in single combat. Due to his size and strength, some historians and scholars hypothesize that Hermann Dracul was either a goliath or half-orc before he was turned. Records state that Hermann was turned by the previous head of the Dracul bloodline, Falko Dracul. As to how Falko met his end, nobody knows. It is unclear whether he was killed during the Vampiric Civil War, or met his end after the fall of Conrad von Halter. There are even some who say Hermann killed Falko himself. Whatever the case, after Conrad's disappearance, Hermann went into hiding at his master's behest. Gathering strength and time, waiting for his Nosferatu's summons.    Hermann Dracul is a juggernaut on the battlefield. Very few vampires can match him in strength and prowess, earning him a spot as one of Conrad's best warriors. But Hermann is no brute. He was known to be a tactical genius, enveloping and destroying his enemies in a swift and brutal fashion. It was said he never used the same tactic against an enemy twice. Now that Nosferatu Conrad von Halter has announced his return, Dracul marched out of the Draculturm with his forces, decisively crushing the Caledonian Mountain Dwarves, sweeping across all of Caledonia. He seeks to move into Berwick next, confident and arrogant in his ability to take it just as easy. During the Battle of Balton, Dracul's forces pushed across the Caledonian River, meeting an allied army of men, elves, and dwarves. During the onslaught, Dracul marched out with his forces, easily felling all who came before him. Confronting The Guardsmen and The Knucklebones in battle, Dracul and his personal guard did battle with the adventuring heroes, taking them by surprise with their swift ferocity. The tide would turn as Dracul would be defeated by Kaolin Kanoni of The Guardsmen. When Dracul's material body fell, his essence journeyed to his coffin and earth which was located in their camp nearby. His forces made a mad dash to protect their lord, but it was no use, as their retreat was unorganized, and the allied forces quickly pushed for an advantage. Vladimir Dankil dealt the final killing blow to Dracul while he was regenerating in his earth.

Intellectual Characteristics

In seeing Hermann Dracul's size, many assume that he is a raging brute and nothing else. They're right to assume his strength, but that is not his only weapon. Dracul is a brilliant tactician and military strategist. He's able to quickly think on his feet, read the situation in front of him, and adapt in order to see it through. His arrogance has cost him on a few occasions, but not everyone is perfect.

Personality Characteristics

Motivation

Dracul has always been known to be a simple creature, even among his fellow members within the Vampiric Aristocracy. He is loyal to his Nosferatu, and will die before ever betraying him. The Nosferatu's goals are his goals, and he will readily be the weapon his master needs in order to see his amibitions through.
