Journeyman Fibblestib Winnipeg Unbodoben (a.k.a. Gray Man)

In traversing the wilds of Laurentia, one may come across a figure most consider to be a myth. A legend, a folk-tale made to entertain or warn children about dangers of the unknown. Some call him the Gray Man. A man he is not, and to those that know him, they know him to be Fibblestib Umbodoben. An elderly wandering gnome, who plays tricks on passers by. People see him, not realizing who he is, as he does a good job making his presence go unnoticed. He is the wandering Gray Man, from a time long forgotten, and a people still proud, but destitute.

Personal history

Fibblestib Umbodoben is a mischevious gnome who lives on the edge of the Blue Mountains near Clonabridge and other outlying tiny mountain villages. The gnomes are cousins of the dwarves, and were quite numerous in the days of old. The time before time. But, after the Great Catastrophe the gnomes have dwindled in number and are almost extinct. Fibblestib is somewhat bitter about this, and wants to live the rest of his days pranking people and having a good time. His most recent leisure has been magically creating an ogre to scare people in the neighboring countryside. He doesn't want to hurt anyone, but it gives him a good laugh.
