Croglin Grange
(a.k.a. War Dog)
A foul predator and scourge among the elves, Croglin Grange gained a reputation as a bloodthirsty murderer. He was known as the "Dog of War" to the Vampiric Aristocracy; obediently carrying out their bloody wishes and whims. He was also a wild card, tending to divert from his missions to go off and kill or feed on anyone, or anything that got in his way. Throughout the years, Grange created a warband of orcs that followed him around, helping him carry out his bloody deeds. To the elves he was most hated, as they spent years hunting and tracking him down, but to no avail.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Croglin Grange was of average height, pale skin, with a thin lanky build. His physical appearance was deceiving, since through his vampiric powers he was a lot stronger and faster than an average humanoid. He was more gruesome in appearance than other vampires. His ears were pointed and bat-like, his eyes glowed orange, his head bald, and he sported a mouth full of pointed teeth and fangs.
Special abilities
Being a vampire, Croglin Grange had a multitude of special abilities and powers. He had heightened strength, speed, agility, and senses. He could shapeshift, turn into mist, and had regenerative abilities which allowed him to heal in the middle of battle.

Personal history
A bloodthirsty deranged killer, Croglin Grange is the perfect war dog for the Vampiric Aristocracy. Blood Hunters who have hunted Grange believe he was either a human or half-elf before he joined the ranks of the undead. He claims to be an older vampire that was one of Conrad von Halter's first followers. No one can prove whether that is true or not, but Grange has been known to puff himself up to seem more important. Regardless, Grange has cut a murderous bloody swathe from Berwick to the Timberlands. He likes to brag, boast, and taunt his enemies as he finds it all to be good sport. Part of his success is due to him being in command of an orcish war party that follows his every whim. Whether they follow him of their own free will or not is not clear. Either way, he has earned a bounty not just with the Blood Hunters, but with the elven realms as well. He is considered a pest that needs to be put down.
Grange's luck would soon run out. He soon became hunted by a wood elf ranger named Simo, who wanted vengeance for Grange killing his people. Simo teamed up with, and joined an adventuring group of heroes known as The Guardsmen. They tracked Grange to Berwick where the vampire and his orcs began hunting them simultaneously. Croglin Grange and his orcs soon caught up with them, doing battle. Grange was defeated, but he wasn't fully killed. If a vampire is killed outside of its home soil then it will regenerate hours later. The adventurers tracked Grange to his cave where they found him in a weakened state and questioned him.
The human paladin Kuonrad, pinned the vampire to his coffin with a holy symbol. In their questioning, Croglin revealed that he was sent to Berwick to deliver it to the "Master." He was pressed on who his master was, and if it was Agnes. The vampire laughed, claiming that she's "the Master's bitch." Through being intimidated further, Grange finally revealed that his master, his Nosferatu is none other than Conrad von Halter. Once he revealed this, Simo knocked an arrow, and killed the vampire once and for all.
As his skin turned to ash, the last thing Grange heard, was Vladimir of Clan Dankil muttering "A pawn, who thought he was a queen..."
Accomplishments & Achievements
Anything Croglin does, he considers it a gift to vampire kind. Every murder, sacked town, and vessel emptied of blood, he thinks is a victory for not only himself, but the Vampiric Aristocracy. His arrogance knows no bounds in that regard. He's quite proud of the carnage he has wrought from the Caledonian Mountains all the way down to the Timberlands, even though it has given the Vampiric Aristocracy nothing; and mission still left incomplete.
Failures & Embarrassments
To Grange, there is no such thing as failure. Everything he does is a victory. A win. Even if his madness and mayhem serves no purpose, it is still an astounding achievement in his eyes. His brothers and sisters of the night would whole-heartedly disagree.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
Grange had an insatiable blood lust that could never be quenched. He says his purpose was to deliver the Kingdom of Berwick to his master, but he took a long time in getting that done. Simply put, he enjoys violence and killing. He would often get distracted, going on killing sprees when he should've been focusing on taking down a kingdom. His personal agendas and motivations would more often than not, get in the way of his duties.
