Acolyte Ahinar Mellerelel

Casting spells and dancing through the glades, Acolyte Ahinar Mellerelel dedicates her service to the head of the elven pantheon, Corellon Larethian. When the cursed rot overtook the Greenwood, this cleric of the elven gods set out for answers, eventually winding up with a fresh group of adventurers known as the Knucklebones. Her enthusiasm and positive outlook on life and the world invigorated those around her, turning her into a beacon of hope for her companions, and those she helped.

Personal history

Ahinar was born in the elven city of Ellelond, which is located in the Greenwood. She grew up as an acolyte to the elven god Corellon Larethian. When the rot took hold of the Greenwood, she set out from her home to find a cure. She eventually wound up in an adventuring party known as "The Knucklebones." Together, they have achieved moderate success, and have some recognition within the region.
During the War of the Northern Alliance, messengers were sent far and wide to bring anyone who may aide in the fight against the vampiric menace. The Knucklebones answered the call. This rather green group of adventurers made their way to Balton, where they could assist in the battle to come. During the battle the vampiric forces of the Dracul Bloodline made their way across the Caledonian River, and fought a combined army of humans, elves, and dwarves. During the battle, the knucklebones were fighting alongside Commander Ewyn and The Guardsmen.
As the battle commenced. Ahinar provided healing spells, and blasts of magical energy provided to support her comrades-in-arms. Unfortunately it was not enough. After assisting the Rheged paladin known as Kuonrad, defend a section of the battle field from a bone golem, the Dracul lord himself emerged in battle. Casting a fireball, he successfully drew the defenders away from their posts. He was accompanied by his vampiric retinue. In an attempt to get to safety, Ahinar fled towards the ruins and assisted Commander Ewyn in fighting of a vampire mage. The vampire mage cast a spell of blight, which Ahinar successfully dodged, but she was too weak to fight off the part of the spell that had reached her. She succumbed to her injuries on the battlefield and died.

When Ahinar became an acolyte to Corellon Larethian, she spent time at his temple in the high elven capital of Tir na Nog. There, she devoted her time to elven religious studies, porting through tomes and texts, while learning spell-craft equipped to her by her god. She received some combat training before venturing off to find the source of the rot.

Employment

For most of her life, Ahinar spent her time as a cleric to Corellon Larethian. She was a wandering acolyte for several years in an attempt to find a source to the rot of the Greenwood. Her last couple months of life were spent as an adventurer with a group known as the Knucklebones.

Motivation

Ahinar's ultimate goal was to find a source to the rot that was plaguing the Greenwood. She saw this as her sworn divine duty to her god, Corellon Larethian. Eventually hitting what she felt like was a dead end, she fell in with the Knucklebones in a continuation of her goal. Through them she gained a new purpose in not just finding the rot, but helping those around her and those in need, like Corellon would want them to.
