Tillhier Mountains

The Tillhier Mountains stretch 350 miles east to west, located in the southern part of Ibia on the continent of Miovarune. Until the year 114 AE, it had been non-civilized and a few native dwarfish and human tribes called the mountains home. When the province of Rolim had discovered this land they civilized the tribal people and rid the mountain of inhabitants until cities were built near to the mountains. The mountains have very few economic influence besides the trade of drugs from the abundant Gold Damask Poppy.

Geography

The mountains are along the coast of the Savage Sea. They are neighbored by the Kan Forest to the south and the Halfair Hills to the north and west. Five major rivers and many streams flow from the melting peaks out to the ocean. There is a slight rain shadow effect from the south side of the mountains but because the mountains aren't that tall, it is very slight.

Fauna & Flora

The mountains are not home to many plants and animals. Most of these plants and animals live at the base of the mountains. Some of these are, the animals, bears, wolves, wild boars, and hares. Some of the plants include conifer trees, mountain dwelling flowers, berries, and herbs. Up in the more uninhabitable areas of the mountains live very few animals. These include mountain goats, eagles, hawks, rodents, and mountain lion.

Natural Resources

The Tillhier Mountains have very few resources. They aren't rich in metals and minerals like many other mountain ranges of Edarah. They don't have abundant life for hunting and they don't have many trees for timber. They do, however, have a vast amount of Gold Damask Poppies that are made into drugs and sold illegally. This leads to many drug camps around the mountains and drug trade all around the area.
