Qenya Avar (Pegasus Shine)
As I continue up the winding path my legs become weary and my mind, doubtful. I begin to wonder if I'll ever reach the top. Around one last tree I finally see it. The Qenya Avar. Ahead there is a cliff face covered with drawings and writings of an ancient tongue, now forgotten. Two huge pillars stand on either side of the cliff towering over me. Small sculptures, ceremonial urns and pots, even bones of sacrificial animals flank the path leading up to the monument. I stop and look out to the skies hoping to see the majestic pegasus. My wish is not granted. After an afternoon of sitting, waiting, and paying my respects to this god-given creature, I begin my decent back down to the land of men dropping a coin as I do.

Purpose / Function
Qenya Avar is used to worship pegasi and the gods that created them. It is also a big influence on the economy of the nearby towns and cities that promote the trip, and sell items to help along the way. The monument is also used in many lore stories about pegasi and the history of Miovarune.
Architecture
The monument is a cliff with ancient writing and drawings. There are two giant stone pillars of elven style that border the cliff. A narrow rocky path leads to the wall and with tributes of all kinds on either side of it.
History
Being created many years before the conquering of Miovarune, Qenya Avar has a long history. It was first built by an Elven tribe that lived in the Tillhier mountains and worshiped the pegasus as their god. Once Miovarune was discovered and conquered, the elven tribe was killed and the monument was left as their only known reminder. Being part of common religion, the pegasus is still worshiped at this shire today.
