Paras
A mid-sized Theban town on the Southern shores of the Pellan Peninsula in the Paras River Delta region. Established over a thousand years ago in the aftermath of the destruction of Fortress Pitt as a refuge for the (mostly Satyr) residents of the Paras Valley displaced by the floods caused after the explosion.

Today Paras is a beautiful white-washed town that covers everything in sight from the harbor to the hills far inland. This picturesque view belies the confusing snarl of buildings and houses the hug the shore and the East bank of the River Paras. It's said that there isn't a straight line anywhere in Paras.
Principal industries are agriculture, with vast inland banana plantations and coffee groves on the hillsides. In addition, there's a small Triton community that live nearby, making a living diving for pearls and shellfish in the bay.
Finally, the city is a center of culture with a vibrant art, music, and theatre community peopled largely by Satyrs who are unsuited to work as fishermen and temperamentally at odds with work in agriculture. There is a 9-month theatre festival from Fall to Spring that draws many tourists from The Theban Main, Ampheon, and Thessia.
