Lower Ampheon

A Thessian city at the foot of the Swift Run Falls. Lower Ampheon actually predates Ampheon, but it's original name has been lost to history.

While by no means as grand as its upper neighbor, Lower Ampheon is a very prosperous town. Profiting greatly from its location near to the capital and sitting on the shores of the fresh water lake at the base of Swift Run Falls. Large shipping can't pass beyond the falls so Lower Ampheon is a bustling trade hub, bringing goods from upstream into the low lands and importing goods from all over Pella and beyond into the capital and the rest of the inland reaches.

The city has large residential neighborhoods stretching South of the canal all the way to The Citadel.
