Knossa

The largest of three Theban colonies on the Spice islands. Knossa was built in the footprint of a much older city that has long since been consumed by jungle. In the 2 centuries since this colony was founded, the colonists and locals (a population of Tabaxi) have established a tentative alliance of mutual benefit.

Together the two populations have beaten back the jungle and tamed some of the best land to begin cultivating valuable spices like nutmeg, cayenne, and vanilla.

Even so, it's not all perfect. The deep jungles of the south side of the island are rife with lizardmen and even worse threats.
