Denis

Originally a Finn colony on the banks of Rue Denis. Denis is the second-largest city in Thessia and the heart of Finn culture in the Pellan Peninsula.
Denis sits on the border between the peat fens of Bogdown and the rolling green hills of the Thessian Main. Denis' principal industries are diverse, most notably, wine making, linen and paper manufacture, peat fuel, and the refinement of other crops that can only grow in Bogdown like peppers and cranberries.
Known throughout the world as a culinary capital, Denis is also home to the largest spice market in Pella where domestic and imported spices are sold in bulk and to private buyers.
The city is also known for its extensive canal network and collection of water taxis. Denis is also one of the three "Turqoise Gem Cities" of Thessia. The old town center district of Denis is dominated by tall stone buildings with ornate copper-clad roofs that have become Turqoise over the centuries.
