Ampheon

The Capital city of the Ampheonic league. Named after the Theban bard-king Ampheon who was the architect of the alliance that united and finally liberated the Pellan peninsula from foreign control.

The City is a massive planned community of broad beautiful avenues filled with monuments and museums as well as official buildings.

Situated near the conflux of the Swift Run Valley where Thessa, Theba and Philippa once met. The City sits at the top of a towering waterfall on the Swift Run River in Northern Pella and can be seen for 60 miles in every direction, further on a clear day.
