The Shadow
(a.k.a. Demon of the Night)
A mysterious entity with impressive capeabilities, the shadow was known to be a demonic masked figure active around the time of the Second Dynasty. The Shadow worked with the The Second Dynasty to hunt down Sinric Leroy and her rebels in exchange for a vast aray of riches. It was said all who saw the shadow, saw death.
The Shadow first appeared in the year 0 when it stole an artifact called The Claw of Darkness from mercenaries and tradesmen who had just recovered it from an ancient temple on the island of Volavo. The claw gave The Shadow immense power which it used to become one of the most deadly things in Ecoth at the limmited time it was active.
The Second Dynasty is known to have hired the Shadow to take out a group of rebels lead by Sinric Leroy in the year 1. The Shadow was sucsesful as it decimated many of their camps and brutally executed Leroy with the claw of darkness. After this it was instructed by the Dynasty to hunt Marka Doez in the hopes she would lead them to Joedofe Hundra, the exiled Prince of Vacana. The Shadow was unsucsesful in locating Hundra and after a brief encounter with Doez and the Cytonknic PLOZ-19 it dissapeared from history.
The Shadow's dissapearance is mysterious alongside who or what The Shadow even was. The claw of darkness later fell into the hands of Joedofe Hundra leading many to believe he killed it in combat.
