Heiles

Heiles is a grand savannah which connects Templer, Odese and Selvada .

Geography

Heiles is one of the most plain areas in Mesos. Some hills and plateaus can be found in the savannah but the majority of the land is flat and open. Rivers concentrate on the north and south of Heiles, as they flow down the mountains of Yunhai and the Central Mountain Range.

Fauna & Flora

Heiles is a grand savannah, making it's flora made predominantly by grasses and bushes. This plants are accustomed to the relatively dry environment of Heiles and to be directly exposed to sunlight all day long.

The fauna of Heiles, as in the rest of Mesos, is dominated by dinosaurs. Dinosaurs of Heiles are adapted to live in open spaces. Herbivores tend to be well suited for low foraging, as well as to spot predators easily out in the open. Carnivores, on the other hand, use the long grasses and bushes to hide and ambush prey.

Natural Resources

Although not as thriving as in other places, Heiles has some deposits of iron on its hills. However, other metals like copper and gold are quite more common in the plains than in the rest of Mesos.

The open lands give great space for agriculture of grains and fruits that are harvested all year long.

The trees disperse through the savannah give enough wood for construction and the stone of the plateaus and hills are good enough for big constructions.
