Azura

Azura is the sky goddess. She is the twin of Nox and received the powers over night and darkness from her sister. This caused Azura to develop two entirely separate aspects. One of them, Azura-nu, led to her betraying the gods by aiding Chaos. As a result Waton, the god of Law and Order, imprisoned Azura-nu in the cage that once contained Chaos. However, every dawn Azura is allowed to leave and complete her duties as Azura-el before being locked up again as night approaches. Azura-nu's imprisonment has led to the darkening of the once bright moon.

Personality

Azura is dual-natured. Her personality changes as night turns to day and vice versa. Azura-el, her light self, is cheerful, loving, soft and kind. She sits at the right hand of Waton and tempers his judgments by highlighting the good in others.
At night Azura-nu appears to plot and scheme alongside Kalia. Azura-nu is secretive, mischievous and works from the shadows with malicious intent.
In the grey hours of dawn and sunset Azura-el and Azura-nu become one. At this time she is silent but with a ready smile; stern, but fair and forgiving. For a short while her memories merge before again separating as the time passes.

Appearance

Azura has two appearances to go with her dual-nature.

Azura-el

Azura-el has light, honey brown hair, hazel eyes and the same delicate features as her twin, Nox. She wears a white silk dress with golden brown accents and carries a large crystal ball filled with light, golden clouds.

Azura-nu

Azura-nu favors dark blue clothing and has chocolate brown hair, grey pupil-less eyes. Of Azura's two aspects, it is Azura-nu who most closely resembles her twin. Azura-nu is usually depicted in a large, luxurious cage with long silver chains dangling from her wrists. Her crystal ball floats beside her and is filled with dark, bluish clouds.
