Introduction:

A ghost is a term that usually refers to a mortal soul that lingers near its dead body rather then move on into the afterlife. While once thought to by mythological creatures, ghosts are now a widely accepted scientific fact and are currently being researched.

Origin:

It is not completely understood what causes a dead soul to linger as a ghost. 

Types of Ghosts:

-Standard Ghost- the soul of an organic imperial, federal, or independent citizen that lingers after death. These ghosts normally show no aggression and disappear fairly quickly.
-Cyber Ghost- the soul of a synthetic creature, normally an imperial citizen. These ghosts are remarkable in their ability to not linger as a bodyless presence, but their ability to "possess" robotic devices and linger in their code. These ghosts are normally harmless and pass on quickly, but may show occasionally show aggression.
-Wraith- the most common ghost by far, a wraith is a soul of a sentient creature from a primitive world. These ghosts are very often violent, and may lash out at any person approaching their site of death. Wraiths are unique in their ability to remain as ghosts long after their death, sometimes lasting centuries before passing on.
