Mithral

Mithral (also spelled mithril), known as truemetal among the dwarves, is a precious metal produced from an ore found in the Underdark as well as mountain ranges in certain areas of Ebresia. It is just as durable as steel but half as heavy, allowing people using mithral weapons and armor to be more agile on the battlefield.
