Motivation
Sabryna was always discontented with the lifestyle her family had adopted. Living among the dunes and scorched earth, Sabryna would listen to the tales of traveling merchants and caravan workers from the Maelstrom Coast. Those which captured her attention most were of the sea. The great endless expanse of water was such a foreign concept in the harsh desert. Growing up poor, often hungry, and perpetually wandering the Ballock Wastes with her tribe, she began to dream of a life beyond the dead landscape.

Sabryna is a skilled hunter, climber, and navigator. However, given her limited exposure to the world beyond her tribe, Sabrynna is very naive. Unskilled in the ways of the more populated world, she has difficulty navigating the social and societal structures of other regions.

Sabrynna is extremely skilled in hunting, and able to track prey across great distances, even in changing weather and environmental conditions. She is also a kind an inquisitive soul, often reaching out to others for connection, even when such starts are not well received. Having grown up with limited food and material possessions, Sabrynna is very giving, particularly to others with less than herself. She is also incredibly skilled with a sling and is a masterful spear wielder.

Quick and nimble as she is, she has successfully navigated these situations, often through luck and perseverance, rather than actual knowledge or social skill. Sabrynna is very inquisitive, which can be annoying to many, and in successful social exchanges, she finds difficulty adapting to the social customs of the region she is in. Often, this takes the form of verbal communication difficulties, as she has difficulty starting and maintaining conversations when no specific topic is the focus of discussion.

She has a tendency to pick at the edges of her fingernails when thinking. When nervous, she will bite the top of her bottom lip, no enough to break skin, but rather, to feel the skin move under her teeth.

Since traveling West, she has become more accustomed to bathing in springs, rivers, and lakes. However, bathing in tubs or man-made bathhouses is still uncommon for her, as she carries with her an aversion to wasting water. She is ritualistic about combing her hair each evening, to avoid knots and tangles, but generally does not style her hair, leaving it to flow freely or lay flat under her linen hood.
