Widely recognized as the final battle of the Ascentant Wars, it was a mixed-terrain battle over the Capital of Zan'Ytel, Belthamz. This battle ended in a complete defeat for Resistance fighters and marked the start of a new era for Ebian denizens, known as The Ascentant Domain, or the Age of Subjugation.
After the Resistance's defeat in the Siege of Belthamz, a provisory treaty and peace agreement was devised, shortly thereafter a precursory document was signed, known as the Treaty of Zan'Ytel. The Treaty defined constitution and laws that the people of Ebi would have to abide by under Ascentant goverment, as well as mandatory labour owed to the Ascentants, war compensations, including other forms of tariff and taxation, and demanded that all remaining Resistance forces be executed and all of their equipment be surrendered, so that Zan'Ytel would be under sole domain of the Ascentants. The signing of this document was seen as a cowardly act by Resistance loyalists, however an end to conflicts was something that both parties had already desired for a long time and the treaty was signed on the 1st of Fervor, 0 PA.
