Ebi

"Ebi, A beautiful world, hidden within the vast expanses of the Xyrian nebulae, the third planet of the Artoris system.   I must say that the thought of exploring a vast new world, unknown to us is such a thrilling sensation. Was this what our forefathers felt when they discovered the Americas back on Earth, so many years ago? This land is full of wonder and beauty, massive lush forests that cover entire continents, lively oceans full of life, and so, so many unique animal species that i can't wait to study.   Not to speak of other sentients. We've met other alien life forms, but never like this. It took us hundreds of years after the discovery of hyperspace to meet aliens for the first time, and now we have a dozen new races that inhabit and share this world simultaneously, in a thriving and living world, unlike the mechanical and industrialized dying worlds we've seen before.   Still, the fear that this may come to an end in a not distant future is a chilling thought. Ascentant warships advance upon us like vultures, and the Resistance tries to impede their progress towards us as much as possible. We're hidden in Xyr, but it won't be for long. This is why I hope that my studies, my books and my travels will perhaps open doors to communicate with the natives, perhaps stablish alliances and share our culture, and ultimately, to defend against the Ascentant Dominion"
