Artoris System

"The Artoris system is a peculiar place. It was found by the Opposition about a decade ago while they fled from the resistance, and it was perhaps one of the greatest discoveries in modern days. This place just flows with Flux. You can almost feel it in the air when you breathe.   The star, Artor, is a mystery. It is about as ancient as Sol, yet should have died millenia ago if any of our other stellar models are accurate, and the only explanation we have for this is 'Flux', and it is driving me and my coworkers insane - but then again, if you think about it for a minute, we thought that it was impossible for anything to travel faster than light only a few hundred years ago, and nowadays instant interstellar communication devices are almost commonplace - But still, it is so uncanny and shatters all of our carefully built concepts and laws of physics, again, that I might just quit the field of Physics completely. Let some other freshman crack their skull open on the mess that is flux-matter-energy interactions, I certainly don't have the patience anymore.   Back to topic - Artor might be a mystery of its own, but its certainly one of the lesser ones. Take a quick look at the planets orbiting it and you'll be quickly overwhelmed at the amount of things that just shouldn't be but are. A true treasure trove of questions. So similar to all we've recorded before, yet so unfathomably different.   ...And don't even get me started on Ebi."

The Artoris System encompasses the Star and all of the objects that fall within it's sphere of influence. Artor, the star, is orbited by 6 major planetary bodies, which may have moons of their own, a large asteroid belt, and a cloud of loosely captured objects that stay at the edges of the system.

Artor, The Allfather

Artor is the fourth largest star in the Xyrian Nebula. It shines a bright blue-white colour, and it is classified as an Early-O class star due to it's temperature and brightness, yet it is roughly twice the radius of our sun, and has only 1.5x times the mass. Despite all of this indicating that Artor would spend all of it's atomic fuel and go supernova in just a few decades, Artor is billions of years old. The stellar mechanisms that have maintained atomic fusion stable inside Artor for this long are still unknown.
Despite it's apparent brightness, Artor mostly emits light outside the visible spectrum, and it's visible luminosity just about matches the sun's. Radioactive emissions are several times higher than the sun's, and can rapidly cause severe burns and acute symptoms of radiation poisoning if one is not properly shielded from radiation.

Ebi, The Allmother

Ebi is the third planet in the Artoris System, it orbits Artor close to the outer part of its inhabitable zone in a prograde orbit with a 425 day cycle, Ebi's orbit is also somewhat eccentric, with it's aphelion and perihelion diverging 2% each from the average orbital altitude.
From space, it appears as a pale planet mostly covered in water, with an abundance of cloud cover, giving it a marbled white-blue appearance.
