Sharn

Sharn is the largest city in Khorvaire, with a permanent population of approximately 210,000 people. Humans make up about a third of that number, and dwarves are a sixth of it; the rest is a blend of every race found across Khorvaire.

The city's location makes it an essential port for travel to any of the other continents, particularly Xen'drik.

Geography

Sharn is situated above the mouth of the Dagger River, and trapped between it and the Dagger's mountainous shores. Sharn can't spread out, so it has continually built on top of itself, reaching into the heavens. The manifest zone it's built within enhances levitation and flight related magic, so the normal rules of civil engineering do not apply here.
