Order of the Emerald Claw

The Order of the Emerald Claw is an outlawed terrorist organization of ultranationalist Karrns and Blood of Vol worshipers carrying out the wishes of their mysterious leaders.

Originally a military order of elite knights and necromancers in the service of the crown of Karrnath during the Last War, it has spread throughout Khorvaire and operated underground since its attempted dissolution in 976 YK. The Order continues to operate in a terrorist fashion to this day, proclaiming their desire to see Karrnath once again rise to power.

By all appearances, the Order of the Emerald Claw now operates as a paramilitary branch of the Blood of Vol. While the public of Khorvaire often associate the Emerald Claw with the Blood of Vol religion, and many of its members follow the faith, the actions of the Emerald Claw are condemned by most followers of the Blood of Vol, including high priest Malevanor of Atur.
