Failures & Embarrassments
At nine, she wrote her first play, Echoes of the Moon, a tragedy inspired by an old elven tale. Her best friend, Darva Lorian, another aspiring playwright, stole the script and passed it off as her own, receiving high praise from one of Sharn’s leading theater critics. Edriana felt crushed, her trust shattered. This taught her an important lesson—words could be stolen, and talent wasn’t enough; one needed cunning to survive in the artistic world.
