Past Life

Danse worked as a gun runner and smuggler for the Boromar Clan during the Great War, operating between Breland and Thrane. Physically imposing and loyal to a fault, Danse thrived as an enforcer and lieutenant, rising through the ranks. Along the way he developed a serious cocaine addiction, leading him to take ever more dangerous jobs and higher risks for notice and promotion within the Clan.

Joining the Church

On the verge of becoming a made man, Danse's fortunes fell when a routine smuggling run went sideways and he killed an inspection officer. As he lay twisting in the wind his rivals within the Clan pushed the Don to pin the blame on Danse, leaving him friendless before the judge when he was due to be sentenced to death. By fortune or fate, a paladin of the Silver Flame in attendance rose to offer Danse a lifeline if he were to pledge himself as a paladin in service to the Church his sentence would be commuted. Since then, Danse has served as a useful agent of the Silver Flame, a skilled sword ready to strike down the church's enemies without remorse or second thought.

Time with Fluke and the Present Day

Danse's current mission has brought him to the Mournland under the instruction of Mother Johanna and with the assistance of Cleric Fluke. Arriving in Salvation, Danse set off to find Vil and the Arrow of Truth, a pilfered church artifact. Since then, he has traveled with the party as they search for a way to remove the Arrow from REN. After reaching Kalazart and succumbing to serious injuries that put him out of commission for several days, Cleric Fluke left his side to join the Lord of Blades' forces. Now, he is set solely on bringing his companion back to the fold and punishing the Lord of Blades and his forces for driving a wedge between the two.
