General Summary

The five players and I got together and talked a bit about characters, goals for the campaign, and so on.  We rolled stats this time around to try to create some more diverse, interesting characters.

The PCS are:

  • Fynn d'Sivas (Rolando), a gnome wizard and scholar
  • Zonzi the Broken (Rick), a psionic warrior
  • Populace (Darren), a The Stitched bard of the College of Spirits
  • Moes Bezula (Joey), a firbolg artificer-alchemist who works mostly with clay
  • Tydings Grim (Bryan), an Aerenal High Elf college of spirits bard.

Backstory Card Connections between the Characters

  • Zonzi, Willow and Populace became embroiled with each other when Zonzi and Populace were acting as go-betweens for a pair of Willow's lovers. Two different powerful figures were pursuing Willow for romance and alliance, and these two accidentally swapped messages and made a big mess of the situation -- which outed Willow, revealed the two suitors to each other, and there followed some challenging times between those two undead.
  • Moes needed Fynn's help recovering relics that had been recovered by Ganitari . Moes' tribe of Firblogs lived in and around the broken tower of the twelve, and he came to Fynn for some help dealing with Ganitari.  Fynn drove a hard bargain and insisted on a tome from the tower, which Moes eventually turned the Cannith Tome over.
  • Fynn: Zonzi bailed on him during Festival of the Redeemed last year.
  • Populace observed something about Moes during the aftermath of the murders of the Black Mug Brotherhood. Moes uses blood as an ingredient in the clay he uses to create his magical pots -- and Populace saw him gathering some of the blood after one of the murders and blending it into his clay.
  • Tydings offered the Silver Musketeers to investigate the deaths of the Black Mug Brotherhood because his Mummy told him that the deaths were important to his quest. She coy about why, though.
  • Zonzi -  has a fanboy infatuation with Populace, was be the reason for the collision that caused the mixup in the invitations from Willow's two suitors -- he's fascinated because Populace is stitched.
  • Moes - Zonzi suspects Moes of having a shady past. He was in the area of the murders of the Black Mug Brotherhood
  • Fynn - Believes that whatever entity is responsible for the deaths of the Black Mug Brotherhood is hiding in the wreck of the Pride of Stormhome. He avoids the wreck with a passion.
  • Populace - The destruction of the Shoushe Pe monastery, and witnessing the destruction was impactful for Populace. Populace believes that they have internalized some of the pain in the destruction of the monastery because of some kalashtar components of their stitched-together body.
  • Tydings - During the fallout from the murders of the Black Mug Brotherhood, observed Moes during the time of the murders and was surprised to discover that firbolgs are sentient, and can think and feel like a "real person". He had assumed that Moes was just some fuzzy servant.  Discovering that he was intelligent and autonomous.  Moes is the only being who is not inherently terrified of Tydings.
