The core doctrines of the Blood of Vol

The Blood of Vol is a decentralized religion that worships the "divinity within," rather than any external higher power. The religion was made the state religion of Karrnath by Kaius I at the start of the Last War, but this was revoked by Regent Moranna in 976. Worshipers are known as "Seekers," short for "Seekers of the Divinity Within."
Although there are still adherents of this religion across Khorvaire, in modern Karrnath it has been almost completely subsumed by The Order of the Magnificent Butterfly. The tenants of the butterfly cult are largely the same (although the butterflies put an odd emphasis on recreational drug use in fact the current Grand Monarch of the upstart church is a former Seeker himself.
