Professor Ari Toriun

Professor Toriun is the first human professor of history at Morgrave University, a position that had been held by Aereni elves since its inception. A national of Aundair, he was once suspected of serving the Aundarian queen as a spy and was forced to serve a prison sentence for the last six years of the war. At the end of the war, he and several others were released (though he has never fully forgiven the Brelish or the University for their xenophobia). Since his release, the professor has been known to frequent the Hadrill Gardens while he ponders over large tomes before retreating to his chambers to write well into the evening. His peers believe that he is attempting to write his seminal work before he fades at the end of his twilight years.
