Lumenia Nurnien

Lumena is The Librarian of the Library of Licorne. The library is her life, the sum of over 80 years of work. The Librarian originally travelled to western Thrane from present day Valenar in the midst of The Last War to study at Arcanix, only to find that the magical university had travelled to Aundair while she was on the road. After losing a beloved colleage during the journey, Lumena continued further inland until she found herself at the base of the magestic floating towers. She had sacrificed much to get there, but the mages in the tower did not even give the proud elf a chance to demonstrate her worth.
Furious, she decided to teach herself- electing to find her own study materials and become the most powerful mage that the world had yet known. She travelled the world for another 20 years to amass what would become the beginning of her collection. Settling in Passage, The Librarian found that few mages sought her out for her skills- but her personal library held some of the rarest tomes in existence. She put an end to her studies, for the most part, and instead opened her home to other hedge mages and Arcanix hopefuls to use as a place to study. As donations from prominent mages began to pour in, she built the Library of Licorne to house the steadily growing collection of magical and mundane texts.
