Callain of the Bloody Word

Callain of the Bloody Word is the current leader of the Wind Howlers, a flight of harpies. Unlike the other harpy flights that have emigrated from the Byeshk Mountains in Droaam, Callain does not swear allegiance to The Daughters of Sora Kell. Instead, she leads the largest of the six major flights that remain independent from Droaam. Callain will oftentimes cause problems for the Daughters and is often wild and unpredictable.
