Chase/Kai Saimon
Description: Atlas Adenca is a fairly built young man, with tan skin and white hair. He has a slender frame with a decent amount of muscle built. While decently tall in stature his height, it is further eventuated by the way that he carries himself, standing tall and proud as though he has something to prove. His eyes are brown and you can see a slight ember of passion in the young mans eyes, which usually dart around as though he is either doing some complex magical operations in his head or is deep in thought.
Personality: Atlas Adenca is a very passionate and driven young man, always trying to prove something to someone, either himself or others. His method of proving himself, is through his thorough and constant research of the arcane arts as well as knowledge in general. Often with his nose in a book you can see him roaming the halls of the University of Wynarn or talking to various teachers about fields of magical research. It is due to his knowledge that he doe not bother with people who do not match his higher level of thinking, often making witty and sarcastic remarks as a way to desuade any annoyances and to prove his intellectual superiority. However, when one proves their worth to Atlas Adenca he is both fiercely loyal and the first to come to their aid.
Background: Atlas was raised as a noblemen throughout his childhood under the name Kai Saimon, with a single mother and a father that had not been in the picture, they still lived a happy life as noble. Raised with the best education, noble expectations, and servants at his beck and call. Under the name Kai Saimon he would be popular among his noble friends and continue to live a happy life until the age of 11 when his mother got ill and eventually passed away. In the following months, Atlas would grieve the loss of his mother and isolate himself in his room, until a letter was sent by his true father, the King of Wynarn. Once he came to the castle, he was announced to be a prince, however, rumors of him being a bastard child were soon to spread among the people. Concerned for the safety of one of his heirs, he would be sent off to study at the University of Wynarn at the young age of 12.
Feeling thrown away by his father, and still aggrieved by the loss of his mother, Atlas would throw himself further into his studies and continue his path through magic. As his knowledge grew he was found to be a genius by all sense of the word, absorbing new forms of magic as though he was guided by an endless lust for knowledge. However, it did not seem to be enough for the young child, as he grew he felt as though he needed to prove himself more and more, he needed to be impressive, unique, an indispensable asset to the kingdom, one that his father would regret throwing away. He studied divination as he believed that if he could see the future of the kingdom he would be able to use that to prove his worth, when he eventually stumbled upon Chronomancy the arcane study of time. With a master of control over time he would be an indispensable power within the kingdom.
Today, Atlas continues his fervent search for knowledge, continuing his same routine of absorbing all available knowledge from his current source from a new source before disposing of them promptly when they serve no purpose to him, while delving deeper into the world of time magic. This process remained untouched until 2 years ago, when an unwanted warforged companion by the name of Eighter barged through his dorm doors, sent by his father.
Flaws: Atlas is cold and indifferent to people and things he deems have no use to him, and is obsessed with the idea of “redeeming himself.” He’s so focused on self improvement through knowledge, he can often neglect to take care of himself.
Ideals: Atlas feels that he needs to make a lasting impact on the world and prove all who ridiculed him wrong. Atlas takes pride in his intelligence and values logic over emotion and wishes people used emotion to fuel logical thinking and to fuel goals rather than have it dominate every decision.
