Venomous Demesne

The Sarlonan nation of Ohr Kaluun was well known amongst it's neighbours for practicing dark magic. During the Sundering, when the Unity of Riedra spread across the continent, Ohr Kaluun was utterly annihilated, but a small community fled into Khyber and emerged in western Khorvaire, in what would (much) later become Droaam. Here, they created a secret enclave which they named Veltharak, and worked tirelessly to regain their lost power. These Kaluunites used their powerful magic to hide their settlement, and inspired fear in those who lived in proximity to them, earning the name "The Venemous Demesne" from their neighbours.
The Kaluunites were content to remain isolated until they received a visit from Sora Teraza, who was able to circumvent their many wards. She spoke to the Venom Lords, and though nobody knows what exactly was said, the tieflings declared their allegiance to the Daughters of Sora Kell just days after she left.
Now, the Venomous Demesne turn their magic to the development of tools and infrastructure for the development of Droaam, whilst continuing to advance their own projects. They are some of the most magically advanced people on Khorvaire, and are capable of producing items that not even House Cannith can match.
