Salvation

Salvation is a scavenger outpost that sits on the border between Breland and the Mournland and it's population make a living by trading salvage scavenged from the ruins of Cyre. The outpost’s brokers use letters of marque granted by King Boranel that that allows the outpost to operate as independent territory on Breland's border, but gives first refusal of the goods salvaged to Breland's markets. People come to Salvation from all over Khorvaire in the hopes of finding their fortune, and undoubtedly many have died trying.

Notable Locations

Mother Jahanah Teskelyndros maintains and runs the Chapel of the Silver Flame in Salvation. It's one of the larger buildings, with a wide open space and thick, heavy doors in case of emergency. The Grey Beyond is the largest, nicest inn in Salvation, and is also where the most well used Notice Board in town is. It's run by Reesin Smyth, a Brelish woman, and normally has about a dozen patrons in at any given time. The Salvation Hotel has a poorer reputation, and is run by Aurion Stilts, a gnome from Zilargo. Annaka Mroranon runs the Tin Pot Tavern, which is known for it's barrels of Frostmantle Fire, an alcoholic beverage from the Mror Holds. Gerthin Soldorak runs the Salvation Times, the outpost's very own newspaper! The Sheriff's Office contains 3 cells and the office of the town's sheriff, Sheriff. Sheriff is generally well respected in Salvation, but she is also known to look the other way unless people are getting violent. The Salvage Market is where most of the salvagers come to sell the things they have collected from the Mournland. There are numerous stalls spread out around the market, and it is here that the salvage brokers ply their trade. There are many salvage brokers in Salvation, but Belaluur, Draev Shaldor, Irullan Karnach and Zodor Tarev are the most influential.
