Flamewind
Flamewind is a gynosphinx with incredibly powerful oracular abilities, rivalling Sora Teraza. She is the only known sphinx residing on Khorvaire, and currently resides at Morgrave University in Sharn. She is one of the most knowledgeable scholars of the Draconic Prophecy outside of Argonessen.
Very little is known about her, she has never shared her past. In 996 YK, a large expedition to Xen'drik, The Carradan Party, uncovered the ruins of an ancient giant city. Flamewind was in these ruins, and informed the party that she had been waiting for them, and that they were going to take her back with them to the "land of the fiends". None of them were going to argue with her, and they brought her back with them when they returned to Sharn. She has made her home in Lareth Hall, in Morgrave University, where she makes extensive use of their libraries and occasionally entertains visitors.
She has previously met with Daine, Lei, Pierce and Jode, and gave each of them a "prophecy". She frequently speaks in riddles, and rarely if ever gives straightforward answers to any question she is asked.
