Draconic Prophecy

Most cultures on Eberron are familiar with the creation myth of the Three Progenitor Dragons. Together, Eberron, Khyber and Siberys created the planes, eventually culminating in Khyber murdering Siberys, and Eberron binding Khyber within her coils. With his dying breath, Siberys coiled around Eberron even as she coiled around Khyber, and they became the world. The Dragon Above, The Dragon Below, and the Dragon Between.   Most people are familiar with some version of this legend, and most religions accept it. The reason behind the legend is rarely explored however, and some scholars say that Khyber and Siberys learned a secret that was tied to the fate of the universe itself, and it was this secret that drove Khyber to murder her brother.   The Draconic Prophecy is a map of the future, of all possible futures. It very rarely presents a single path to a certain outcome, and it's written in omens and signs in the world and the movement of the Ring of Siberys. It is effectively an unfathomably vast matrix of If-Then statements, which chain together and create complex pathways for the future. For those manipulating events towards a certain goal, the Prophecy provides a means to do so, "if X does Y, then Z will happen."   Effectively, if you know a part of the prophecy, you can see one potential path that the future could take, and what needs to happen to "lock in" those events.

Flamewind's Prophecies

The sphinx Flamewind gave several prophetic messages to Daine, Jode, Lei and Pierce when they were in Sharn.

Lei

You will find the answers you seek in time. For now, you must ask yourself the questions. I am not the only one who can see your flames, others are watching, and shaping your path. The death of Hadran d'Cannith, the presence of the gnome Aline, none of these are accidents. Beware coincidence. You killed Hadran, Lei, those who are watching have plans for you, and a life with him was not in those plans.   All of your troubles are tied to your past, to who you are, and those who came before. Your fate is linked to your family, your parents and your brothers. You carry the legacy of your line, and you have already met one of your brothers. You must forget your house, and focus on your family.

Pierce

Your friends will rely on your strength in the days to come, Pierce, but even you do not know your true strength. Do you know what your purpose is? You know what you were told, and what you have done, but it is far from the truth. You too must learn about your family. Who made you, and why? If you wish to know your purpose, that is where you must begin.

Jode

You know your family, Jode, and you know who you are. What matters are the choices you'll make in the next few hours. There is a key that only you can find, hidden between two stones that only you can move. You must find it alone, but you will pay a terrible price to do so. You have the power to end the suffering of others, but you will need to sacrifice all that you have.

Daine

You have turned your back on your past, Daine. You sold your family sword long before Jode did. You will need to take up that sword again. You will have lost far more than your sword by the time the sun has set, and you must make peace with the shadows if you are to survive. Enemies are all around you, and the deepest darkness is hidden within the light. There will come a time when you will be asked to give away your closest friend. Be careful, you will have to carry the consequences for the rest of your life.
