Lei spends the night dismantling the Orrery.

15th Eyre, 998 YK

Lei spends the rest of the morning dismantling the Orrery, and keeping notes on the enchantments that power it in her homunculus.
The party, on Lei's advice, smash the mechanical elements of the Orrery. They take the glass orbs reprsesenting Rhaan and Nymm, the two smallest moons. The rest are just left, as they prove resilient.
They immiediately head up to Clifftop, where they find Lhara. They offload 39 of the books on her to have the guild appraise and possibly sell. She also gives them another job for the Provost.
This time, he wants them to travel to an Irian manifest zone in the Graywall Mountains and charge a sapphire there. He also wants the region mapped.
They accept the job, which is not time sensitive. Lhara has secured them passage via airship, so they just need to return to her when ready.
The group proceeds to take Olalia to Overlook. Kalshana takes her up to see the Enlightened Havakhad.
Havakhad is expecting them, and explains that Fan Adar will help Olalia. The community is capable of communicating with her, and Havakhad himself believes he can "untie the knot in her head" and break this curse.
While there, Havakhad also asks if Kalshana needs help with the "sickness that has taken root in you". This takes some time, but he manages to restore her eye to her own control.
Havakhad explains that what had happened to Kalshana was similar to how a Kalashtar makes a psicrystal. A part of Kalshana broken off from the whole. Havakhad believes this may have been an attempt to separate Kalshana from Shana, though it seemed to be unsuccessful.
From here they travel to Deni'yas to see Alina Lorridan Lyrris and get paid.
They hand over the khyber shards and receive their payment in coins.
Daine asks if Alina could use her influence to help them buy property in the city, but Terfel Glas suggests they should come back to New Cyre with the party.
Before he leaves, Alina presents Daine with his heirloom sword, which Jode d'Jorasco pawned off when they arrived in Sharn. She's also restored the blade, revealing the Watchful Eye of House Deneith.
Daine takes the sword and storms out.
Alina demands they hand over the vials containing the dragonmarks. She states that the original deal was that they return the dragonshards to her, "whatever form they currently take".
The party argues that she can't prove these vials are/were the dragonshards, even with her theory.
It's very tense, but Alina allows them to leave. Terfel notices that Alina has 7 birds this time.
As the party exit, they witness a verbal confrontation between Daine and Lei.
Terfel convinces them to argue somewhere that isn't being watched by the Trust.
They head up to Clifftop, and then they argue. Daine reveals that he was born into House Deneith, his father was General Doran d’Deneith of the Blademark. He had some history with Alina during his time in the house, and eventually he forsook the house to join the Cyran Guard.
The party convinced Daine, Lei and Pierce to return to New Cyre with them. The three returned to High Walls to talk to Greykell about what happened.
The party, still in Clifftop, were approached by a hooded figure who asked if they were the ones involved in the Warforged Strike. He was pretty sus, very nervous, but said they had a friend in House Cannith. He noticed Terfel's missing arm and said he would acquire a prosthetic, but he didn't know. As a peace offering, he brought Dax' Athla a new bow.
He said he'd return the following morning with a new arm for Terfel. He made an effort not to show his face, but still slipped up at one point and revealed a greying beard.
They went shopping!
