The secret that the faeries didn't reveal to the elves when they told of their mother, the Goddess Syll, was that there already had been a church dedicated to her for years.

Unbeknownst to the elves, or anyone else on Tamia, is that the Church of Syll was started a couple years after the destruction of Star Fall by faeries. They created this structure to rally their people around their Goddess and start over once more after losing so much. This church was really started in 5 SR though no one knows that.
