Spine Mountains

This large mountain range in the northeast of Tamia rests atop The Drop and looks out over the entire continent. Mainly an arctic range, the mountains here are rich in iron and coal. Dozens of mines of either type can be found throughout the lower mountains, closer to civilization, and the most northern peaks have never even seen men walk upon them.

Geography

This mountain range is a force of nature to behold. Cold winds blow, dropping the already cold temperatures to well below tolerable conditions on the highest peaks, and even airships daren't travel this high up for fear of accruing too much frost and icing up. More airships have gone down in these mountains then all of the ships lost in the great war, such is the curiosity of man (and dwarf)
